All commands in the Add-ins submenu unavailable due to no database or object.
Cause:
Add-ins commands are not available because no database is currently open or the Database or object windows are hidden. This is by design of Microsoft Access.
Solution:
Open any Access 7.0 database or unhide the Database or any object window.
Do one of the following:
1) Open a desired Access 7.0 database:
a) With Access already started, select the 'File' menu and select 'Open Database...'. (The Open dialog box appears.)

b) Select the drive where the existing database is located from the 'Look in' drop-down list.
c) Select the folder that contains the database file in the 'Look in' list box. (The desired database file appears in the Look in list box.)
NOTE: If the file is in a sub-folder, continue selecting folders in the 'Look in' list box until the database file is displayed.
d) Select the database file. (The file is highlighted.)
e) Click 'Open'. (The database opens.)
2) Unhide the Database window of the opened database or any of the hidden object windows:
a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Unhide...'. (The Unhide Window dialog box appears.)
b) Select the desired Database window or any object window from the 'Window' list box.

c) Click 'OK'. (The Database or the selected object window appears on the screen.)
